Through the years...
You know over they years I have watched my a diffrent toons. I have seen some really good ones and some really back one and now you got CGI to add into the mix of things and over they years I have to to one thing about toons. There is nothing better then the Great Snow White. Yeah I know it's not really a toon more then a movie and you should never touch something like it and to this day I haven't seen anything happen to it wher they have done amnay of things with disney toons I don't think touching this one is a good Idead, but when you move from movies to T.V. you can really see a change from the stuff of the sixties to moder times and for the most part I want to say it been good, but then I do see something that is just horrable I mean the tooning is just so bad. I can't stand to watch it and it's either ment for an adult ot late teenager, but the tooning is just such crap I can't stand to watch it. I mean it so bad that it makes the bad stuff from earily toons look good. I just can't see why you would want to watch something like that or even thing about producing something that looks so bad. I know kids that can draw better then the crap they are showing and I have been watching toons for many years. I have use to watch scooby, M*U*S*H* the grovey gooles and worked my way up to thing like robotech and wait tell your father gets home. these are toon that worked I mean even both version of voltron where better then some of the stuff you get today. I watch a few of today toons because they are done really well, but that might be because they are also done by big companies like Disney or Dreamworks, but you would think with todays tech and software that you could come up with something that looks just as good if not better. Now I can't drew with anything I can't make a toon, but so I don't thing some of these people should either I mean there isn't even a prsentable story line for some kids and it's not something that an adult really cares for.
Toons in Comics..
Ok yes i have a ton of comics sitting in my house and I have read almost all of them. There is a few I haven't because they are still in the bag they where shipped in and I was home at the time. Now I can say this is one place that quilty has drop like a stone over they years you look at a book that was done in the late 70's and mid 80's and you see a change for the better, but if you look at something today or even 10years ago and compaer it to something for the mid 80's you'll see that is sucks. Now the paper has a little to do with it because it's this high gloss stuff and not it's not real paper like newspaper I mean when I open a book form the mid 80's I can smell the story today I can't smell sanything in a book. There is no print to smell it's just not there. Now there where some great arties in the 80's and 90's and they I think saved the market and made the boom you had back then. and at one point like everything else the bottom feel out of it when something better came a long and the price of a normale book when from 50cents to a $1.50 and then even to I thinkit's like $2.50 for you month issue of X-men now and then you have something like 10 or more of just the one title to try and follow not to mench the other books you want to try and real like Captain America and Iron man, but the tooning is such crap what the point anymore anyway. No I have to say I stopped a few almost over 10years ago so things could have changed to hopfully something better but I couldn't take it anymore and I must say I was addicted to comics and stopping was hard to do I had to move out of state to do it. I was use to a comic book store a few miles away in almost every direction I went and I moved to a state wher I couldn't find one anywhere close by it was like going cold turkey for me.
The Comic book store..
Now there is another thing. I was use to a comic book store being just that a comic book store. now you go into a comic book store it's had to find the back issues There isn't anything it's all toy's and other crap cards and thing. I remember my dad took me to a comic book store more then a hour away from the house. we walked into this small building and I have to say that the place couldn't have been more then 100 feet from front to back and 30 feet wide with a door that lead into the a back room. Not that impressive. They had mostly new issues up from with like the past years back stock. for anything else you had to head into the back room. my dad took me into said come on let's go look in the back room. Now my dad had been here before. He was as addicted to Comic Collecting as I was may be a little more so I followed him into the back room. Well the back room wasn't a back room as it was more of a back wharehouse. i mean this place was huge. it had tables made out of playwood and sawhorse andwas just huge A-D was like one wall then you had E-h on the back wall and I-p on the other wall and Q-T on the entance wall and then the rest in the middle, but it was huge you walked infromt this small front to this great big room I mean this place was like a wharehouse filled with boxs on top of boxs if you couldn't fine something in here it someone had to have brought every copy there was and all this palce sold was comics it was great, but as much as I liked that place my favorte comic book store was this small hole in the wall. you walked in took ten steps and you where at the back wall the great thing about it though was it had comics packed to the celling and that is what this guy sold comic books not any of this new fancey card games or toy's but books and it was a friendly place if you went everyweek the guy knew you personaly not that you don't get that today but this guy was just something spechail He is where I did get a lot of my back issuse, but you can picture it a Big heavy guy sitting behind his conter in a hawiien shirt talking to you and knowing where everythign in his store was. that was a great place. You just don't get that day you get a toy store that might have back issues going back may be 10years if you lucky now a days it kind of sucks if you ask me, but then again these's places need to do something for when the bottom fell out so did a lot of there bussness and toy's and cards is where they had to go. So enjoy wha tyou have today because I have to say it's not worth it...
