The gimic

what people will do...

You Know it's amazing what people will do to help make a little town become populer or what they will make up. Now in this case you know it's false from the get go but it's still intresting that a small little ocean town would male something like this up and for the most part just for the fun of it. I mean people will see it and wounder what or how it was done and it is intresting to see the history and story that they have crwated around it. Now the whole town is not based on this one thing but it's fun to see what they do wiht it. It's a small town on the coast that makes most of it's money during the summer when people want to take a weekend and go to the beach or just get out of town so this is a good place to rest and recharge. Now like most towns like this it makes most of it's money on the weekedend so that is when they plain most of there events, but I like to go during the week to see what the people of the town are really like because you have more time to talk to an see the town itself the down side to it is that there isn't anything really going on during the day or night, so you just kind of have to make your own thing up and see what the towns people do and follow there steps in that respect.

Good small town living...

For the most part i have always lived in a big small town. I mean I use to live on the outside of L.A. in a small town, but still I had a good couple of thousand people around me and Rush hour was three to four hours. Then I moved out to a town just on the other side of Tampa I it was a little smaller but they were working on building it up and things just kept growing, but there wasn't any really freeway driving so it was a town in which you might know get to know your locaol bartender or shop owner, then I moved up here to washington and the freeway does come back into play but when you drive 20 mintues you have gone a more then 25 mile and yeah there is a rush hour that is an hour and half if you leave at the wrong time but still you don't have that much traffic and if you go to the coffee shop at least once a week the people know you and give you a good smile and are willing to talk to you it's not a small town but it's not that big one. Here you can run into someone you know and feel good about it or you can run into the one person you hate and half the city knows you don't like them it's one of those you are know thought out the place but you can still not worry about who knows what because not everyone knows everyone. it's a nice quit little place where when something happens everyone jumps on it, but for the most part they also keep to themselvies. You know you going to have to run with that. Now you get the small town that has it's gimic to bring people in like the kite festavil or the beer teasting mounth. These are the small town where it's everyone knows everyone and it's strange sometime to see what happens when the big crowd isn't there. who hates who and who is dating who. The great rumor mill is in full fuction during the week and all the fun stuff that goes with it. So go and find a place to have a break from the big city and see it for what it really is and go during the week and watch the people. I bet you that that the town changes from one thing to the next once the weekend is there. so go and enjoy....
